Kids Garden Charleston has been an incredible part of our lives for the past three years. Since my son started at age two, we have watched him grow into a curious, confident, and kind young learner—all thanks to the nurturing environment, dedicated educators, and Montessori-inspired approach that Kids Garden provides. Ms. Carol, Ms. Savannah, and their wonderful team have built a space that truly honors childhood, allowing children to explore, create, and learn at their own pace while being deeply connected to nature and mindfulness. The trust we have in them is immeasurable. They lead with patience, warmth, and a genuine passion for early education, making every child feel valued and supported. From hands-on activities to outdoor exploration, every day at Kids Garden is filled with opportunities for growth, imagination, and discovery. It’s more than just a school; it’s a community that fosters a love for learning and a deep respect for the world around us. We couldn’t be more grateful for the impact Kids Garden Charleston has had on my son’s early years, and I highly recommend it to any family looking for a mindful, nature-inspired, and loving learning environment.

We moved to Charleston a year ago without placing our toddler on any local waiting lists, only to find that no childcare options were available. We were desperate—until we discovered Kids Garden. From the moment we tried it, our child loved it, and so did we. The teachers are not only incredibly engaging and loving, but our little one genuinely enjoys being there, asking to go every single day. Now that we’re enrolled in a school closer to home, our two-year-old still asks to visit Kids Garden almost daily after school. A huge shoutout to our favorite teachers—Miss Kelli, Miss Savannah, Miss Haley, and Miss Amanda. Thank you for being so loving and wonderful to our boy!

Moving from Pennsylvania and going from remote work to being in the office for the first time was a big adjustment. It took months of research to find child care I could truly trust, and Kids Garden was the perfect choice. The staff is amazing, and I can work without worry, knowing my child is happy, well-fed, and cared for. The environment is warm and welcoming, and they go above and beyond for both kids and parents. I couldn’t be happier with my decision!

Our family absolutely adores the teachers, kids, & culture of Kids Garden! The part time programs work for our family's schedule & needs. Our kid is learning from his community & building skills while they attend, which is of the utmost importance to our family. The teachers are professional yet warm, kind, & friendly towards all their students. It takes so much stress off my mind to know that when I drop my kid off, they are being taken care of by competent, caring hands.

Our little one loooooves Kids Garden! So naturally my wife and I love it too. We moved our daughter from another play-care around 6 months ago and the improvement in her development and generally mood has been amazing. Our favorite part of Kids Garden is the fact that absolutely NO TV's/SCREENS are in the building. I love seeing our child playing, drawing, dancing, crafting with other children when we pick her up everyday! The teachers are all pleasant, kind and seem focused on the safety and well-being of the children in their care. Our daughter loves Miss Kelly and all of her teachers at Kids Garden. Kids Garden is the absolute BEST!

Both children love Kids Garden. Ranging from day care to after school to summer camps to parents night out. We showed up at a parents night out recently where our daughter waved us off to not come in yet because she was having so much fun!

I love how flexible Kids Garden is with my schedule. My daughter loves it there too.

We just popped in to get a tour of the center before my kiddo attends their parents night out events and it was wonderful! The staff were so polite and kind. They addressed my kiddo directly and had all the other kids say hi as well. Wonderful place! Shout out to Ms. Amanda for the warm welcome!

My daughter loves this place ! She started from drop in to preschool and loves every minute of it! She loves her teachers and her classmates. This was the one place she felt comfortable and safe to be on. She loves her teacher ms summer. She is blossoming in this place and ready for kindergarten thanks to kids garden. Both locations are amazing !!

We adore Kids Garden! The staff is incredible. Each teacher has their own strengths and it's fun to learn about them through the eyes of our little one ("Ms Lindsey showed me how to wash my hands, Ms Summer was so silly at circle time, Ms Savannah helped me with my artwork! etc"). We love the diversity in the playtime activities/work stations. Math, science, art, imagination, all of it is clearly encouraged. I appreciate that the kids are given time to play outside most days and the friendships our little one has made during her time at KG are wonderful. The half day pre-school program is excellent for us as our kiddo still naps after lunch, but we love that we can utilize drop-in hours and PNO, too!

I cannot speak highly enough of kids play garden and the entire staff! We attend the South Windermere location and my daughter started when she was 12 months old. They were the only ones I have ever trusted with her and I’m so grateful I did! I cried actual tears when she left to start school and take every opportunity to use their drop in hours for half days or school breaks! The best 💙

My wife and I hosted our daughter's birthday party here and it was incredible. Their new space has so much room and the staff was amazing. Our son has visited multiple times throughout the year for daycare and camps. We'll definitely be back! Highly recommend!

Just getting home from work, and my child is soooo happy. It’s been a long day and coming home to happiness makes all the stress subside. He can’t wait to go to kids garden tomorrow, and I can’t express enough (again) how much we appreciate having such a magical place for our childcare needs during work chaos ❤️❤️❤️

We have been sending my 2 (almost 3) year old here for their daily preschool program for several months now and we are beyond happy with them. He was having issues at a prior daycare not being challenged enough and acting out. The staff listened to us and took steps to ensure he was always engaged and it has worked wonders. We've even seen his language and storytelling abilities blossom shortly after starting here. LOVE this place and so happy to have them nearby.

Finding a preschool that fit our needs began as a daunting task and ended with the perfect preschool experience! I started out looking for a “Mom’s Morning Out” type preschool program because that seemed to be the only part time preschool option available. Finding all of those programs to be full or closed I began looking through online searches. What we found at the Kids Garden fit all of my search criteria and so much more! They offer custom scheduling (care paid by the hour and/ or preschool packages), a secure indoor play area (cleaner and safer), organic snacks and meals, a non-religious affiliated Montessori-type learning environment, prices that are the same or lower than other preschool programs, and even a monthly Parents Night Out! All of these things are wonderful and I truly believe they are PERFECT for providing a preschool age care environment. We have been sending our son for care and preschool for almost 6 months now and he learns so much! Most importantly I feel the best thing about Kids Garden is the teachers! All of them are caring, friendly and expert toddler handlers! Jen, Savannah, and Hannah greet us with calm smiles every day and they all provide such expert care that I can honestly say my son couldn’t be in better hands for his “school day”! Carol the director is very hands on and I have never seen a task she doesn’t handle expertly! Hearing is believing y’all! Every time I walk in I am amazed that I am actually in a preschool! It is always so calm and orderly in there it is hard to believe so many preschool age children are also present! Kids Garden puts the littles first without compromising adult concerns and I couldn’t be more grateful we found them!

My kids (7 & 9) were part of the new Paint and Create Studio Program this week. They had a fantastic time and can't wait to go the next one! They worked with spray paint, paints and shapes. This was a fun, interactive, creative multi age program. We are excited to see what the project will be next week. Thanks Kids Garden!

We love the flexibility of Kids Garden, the stimulating environment, and creativity and passion displayed by teachers. Our daughter comes home singing songs she learns there and always talks about all her friends there. We appreciate the convenience of Kids Garden and can't say enough good things about this place!
