Best flexible childcare in Charleston! We go to their Mt Pleasant location for about a year now when we were looking for a flexible drop in option for our toddler. The director & teachers are all very accommodating & they treat every child with equal care & attention. They’re very good at communicating with your child’s needs & developments as well. They keep the center clean, safe & a lot of their programs are engaging. My toddler calls this place his “play school”! This childcare is highly recommended & I keep sharing them to parents I meet in the area! 2026 Update: Our youngest child has been attending here since he was 18 mos old & for almost a year now, he has grown to love this place as much as his older brother did, years ago. Clean, safe, engaging, caring & nurturing PreK is something unique & special to Kids Garden. They’re one of the very few PreK that’s also open almost year round, has school break camps & parents night out. My family’s only wish is they bring this to more locations so more families & children can experience it!

We have been taking our little ones here over the last four or five years and cannot say enough great things about this place. It’s safe, very open so you’re able to see everything happening. Each morning for dropoff there are different stations thoughtfully set up in a Montessori kind of way that keeps it fresh for the kids to learn each day. The teachers here are great Ms Hayley, Mrs Kaitlin and their team really run a tight ship-The place is always spotless. The biggest plus for us is that we really enjoy the parent’s night out that they offer! Thank you for all you do.

I love seeing my son here. He loves playing on the playset with all his friends. The art classes are fun also.

We chose the Kids Garden for my son’s 4th birthday party. Hannah was great and her and her co worker were so friendly and helpful! They helped set up and brake down everything. I would 100% recommend. MY boy and all of his friends had the best time!

My friend takes her child here and when I ask him about his day, he cannot stop talking about the fun activities here! I love the drop-in feature for when a meeting pops up or the Parents Night Out for date nights. I will definitely use them in the future.

I cannot sing enough praise for Kid's Garden! My daughter has been going a few times a week for the last two years. We have found the perfect place - flexible child care without comprising the care, nurturance, consistency, warmth, stability, and creativity the staff here provides. We love you guys! I am so grateful for my daughter to grow and learn in this environment. I truly recommend Kid's Garden to parents of little ones as much as I can.

We can’t say enough positive things about Mount Pleasant Kids Garden! My son has been going there several times a week for the past year since he turned 2 and it has been great for his socialization and language skills. All of the teachers there are wonderful and show that they really know and care about him. I’m never worried about dropping him off for a few hours and it is so convenient for running errands or when I work a few hours throughout the week without having to commit to long daycare hours. The parents night out once a month is awesome too and my son gets so excited for his pizza and dance parties! We absolutely love kids garden and would be lost without their teachers and care :)

We so enjoyed having our son's 4th birthday at the James Island location. Setting it up was very seamless and the kids had a ball playing on the play set and doing two sensory activities that our two party planners- Kaitlin and Hannah set up. The entire team was great to work with and Kaitlin and Hannah were so helpful with set up and break down. Would definitely recommend a party here!

Kids Garden in Mt. Pleasant has been an absolute blessing for our family over the past two years! They go above and beyond to create engaging activities that spark creativity and learning, from arts and crafts to in their beautiful, secure area.The communication with parents is top-notch; we always feel informed with regular updates, photos, and detailed reports about our kids’ days. The facility is spotlessly clean, and the curriculum is thoughtfully designed to support both social and cognitive development, giving our children a strong foundation. We’ve watched them blossom into confident, curious little individuals, and we owe so much of that to Kids Garden’s incredible team. If you’re looking for a daycare that feels like an extension of your family, Kids Garden is the place to go—five stars all the way!

MtP Kids Garden is my life saver. I struggled with trusting daycares in the area and they have exceeded my expectations! We drop our son for a few hours everyday and he truly loves it. The staff is beyond loving and kind. I fully trust them.

Kids Garden is a wonderful learning center. The teachers and staff help children grow and learn in an enriched, open environment. The kids are constantly learning through immersive programs and unlimited creativity. The flexible hours and drop in approach is helpful for any parent’s schedule.

We've used Kids Garden a number of times over the years for my now 6 and 3yos. They've been more than flexible with me needing to drop my son of last minute, and the staff seems professional and is always courteous (no easy task when you're chasing around that many young kids all day).
